Possible School Closures Due to Weather or Power Outages
 
In the event of a school closure announcement, information for 
parents will be available through:
  • media
  • local radio stations - Country 107.1 FM or STAR-FM at 98.3 FM
  • district website  www.sd34.bc.ca,
  • and the district's Synervoice* communication system

*Synervoice consists of an automated phone call to each student's home number or primary contact number. This will be a district emergency message authorized by the Superintendent and generated through the district office. The message should be delivered to each home through the automated system by 7:00 a.m. on the day a school closure is in effect.

Kindergarten Registration begins Jan 16, 2012 , 9:15 am

Students must turn 5 years old by December 31, 2012.
Proof of age (birth certificate) is required.

Proof of residence is also required by showing one of the following:
-tax assessment notice
-proof of purchase (home)
-mortgage papers
-rental agreement
-cable, hydro or gas bill in your name
